Crops

We grow a range of crops on the farm;

• Wheat:
  • Grown to feed the chickens and to sell to feed flour mills.
• Barley:
  • Grown for brewing beer and animal feed.
• Oilseed Rape:
  • Grown to crush and produce oil for bio diesel, lubricants, cosmetics and cattle feed cake.
• Maize:
  • Grown for animal feed and our Anearobic digester.
• Energy Beet:
  • Grown for our Anearobic digester.
• Grass:
  • Grown for our Anearobic digester and to produce hay for horses and other livestock. There is always some always for sale, contact us for more details.
• Straw:
  • All straw is baled and sold for livestock bedding.
